Impartial testing is the leading provider of Stress Relieving technique which consists of heating the metal or alloy to a temperature below the critical range to relieve the stresses resulting from cold working or gas cutting. The intention of this method is not to alter the mechanical properties of the metal.

In the case of Stress relieving treatment, the objective is to let the Stress out, which has been absorbed by the metal during fabrication, by bringing it to a predetermined temperature that is low compared to other processes like annealing or normalizing and later let it cool.
